Nancy Pelosi, Very Smart Woman

The Doc proly should have called in for the straight jacket after that answer. All I can say is Wow that is who is leading america, where are we going from here.

What is rediculous is that the left wing is blaming GWB for the current economic state we are in. The problem with that is that the left wing has been in control of the Senate and House. They are the ones who brought forward the Frannie and Frank mess that has plummeted this country in to economic stress. Come on who in their right mind writes legislation that makes it possible for someone to take on a mortgage that they cannot afford, ie 200,000 plus mortgage for someone working a 10-12$ an hour job. It was bad business and now they still lay the blame onto GWB? WTF is wrong with the people in our govt? Were the hatched in Jamestown, and now want all of us to walk up to the buckets and take a sip of the KoolAid? :mad:

Puff, thats because nobody reads the fine print anymore. Young society believe's that the president has control over everything and the corrupt politicians keep the idiots believing it.

Sledguy,

I see no "personal attack" on you at all. Do you have an inferiority complex? However, I do see an attack on past President Bush who had nothing at all to do with this thread until you introduced him. Oh, by the way, the mess we are left with and dealing with was caused primarily by a Democratic Congress the last two years of the Bush presidency.

I do not know who you are, you are correct in that statement. Your level of intelligence and the nature of your character are more than readily evident by what you type. Sorry, but you gave yourself away with the keyboard. :)

That is the interesting thing about the internet. A person can appear less intelligent than he really is but the reverse is not true (or should I say,is not "readily evident") as is the case in question. :face-icon-small-win

Birds of a feather flock together and you are obviously a Bush Bird!

So is this a joke or a real story? I assumed it was a joke when I read it. If not.......wow!:eek:

I am not exactly a Bush person myself. If you insist on talking about Bush perhaps you should start a Bush Bashing Thread instead of invading a thread about a completely different topic.

I am certainly not a supporter of the Communist Obama and gang of which none have any clue what it is like to support the United States literally by putting their lives in danger. I have done that and therefore have earned my right to be here and say what I feel.

You are right about the birds of a feather. I think it is "evident" what birds schit in your nest. ;);)

Really Sledgy, you should be happy there are guys like myself around or you would not have the freedom to show your stupidity on a public forum. I will accept your thanks in advance. :beer;

Just the opposite my brainwashed friend. What I feel is sorrow for you. Don't expect thanks, however, as I can't think of single thing that you have contributed positively to in my life.

It is not surprising that people like you have no respect for the United States Military and those who have served in it. After all we have only given people like you a safe place to live. We certainly would not want your respect and none have obviously contributed positively to anything in your life.

Not sure why you would feel sorrow for me but I certainly do not need your sympathy. I have done quite well with my life even though I gave a big part of it to others. I retired at 48 financially well off and will remain that way. No need to feel sympathy for me at all.

I do feel sympathy for you however. It must be rather an empty feeling never having done anything for your country and have to live off the sacrifices of others who have. I truly would not feel content having to wear that on my shoulders.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You really don't know who I am or what I do, do you? Here all this time I thought you were just giving me chit. No empty feeling here. :D:D:D

Sledguy, NO I do not know who you are or what you do. I can only come to a logical conclusion by what you type as I have said before. You have no idea who I am either or what I have done in my 59 years on this earth, do you.

No, don't tell me your name is Mitch Rapp. Is it really you Mitch.? :beer;

Ok ok time out you bastages....sldgy I definitely disagree when you say A.S. hasn't done anything for you. Every soldier that has served has done tremendous things for every American....a veteran such as A.S. has definitely gone far beyond the average soldier. After reading your threads...I see a lot of misinterpretations here between both of you...and maybe a lot of pride getting in the way between both of you. Yes A.S....sldgy is more liberal than most of us on here. But, after past discussions with him I believe he respects veterans and servicemen....and appreciates their sacrifice for his freedom. I think this is more of a personal argument between both of you than an attack on the military, etc. Find your common ground....I know its there after reading both your posts in the past. Now play nice...look who is saying this! haha

One more post and then I'm calling this one a done deal. Just to clarify, I have never said anything about not respecting our military or the individual soldier that serves our great country. If something I said eluded to that I am very sorry as that was never my intent. We all have a part to play in making this a country in which we can raise our children and grandchildren in, free from hate, famine and plague. If we all do our part and live by God's rules all will be well. God Bless us, each and every one!

PS. A.S. we do have something in common, it appears that we are both 59 years old.:face-icon-small-hap

:beer;:beer;:beer; ...and you both have more in common than being old bastages! HAHA ....you are both passionate patriots....I gotta respect the hell out of that!

OK Sledgy, it appears we are both old bastages or crusty old bastages. Since I served in the military I kind of figured I did something for everyone who lives in this country and when you said I hadn't that set me off. Of course you probably wouldn't have known that since I don't think I mentioned it prior. Sorry. In dealing with many Liberals on another forum I participate on I guess I am gun shy due to their disprescpect of Veterans.

Ok, I'll show you mine if you show me yours. I served in the US Army from 1967 to 1970. In Nam I was a combat medic with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. We were known as the toughest outfit in Nam. We did not kill babies and women or old men. We did our jobs as best we could. We fought the toughest longest single battle of the war. Hill 875 at Dak To. Google it.

Ok, other than that I spent a career as an Airline Captain. I retired at 48 due to major heart surgery. I am too physically unable to sit in the cockpit any longer and drink coffee and read the newspaper but I can ride sleds all day in the Rockies. ha ha.............

OK, guess one more post won't hurt.

When you were in Nam, my wife and I were employed as house parents (24-7) at a facility that took care of abused and abandoned children. I currently am a psychiatric social worker working with schizophrenic adults who live independently in our community.

I also supervise the only private sector Accertive Community Treatment Team (ACT Team) in the state of Idaho.

I certainly don't remember downplaying your military service and if I did, I apologize. Please reconsider your attack on my intellect and character, as I feel as you do that I have contributed much to the betterment of our society.

Now, I showed you mine, are you happy? Can we now go enjoy a ride in the snow?

Definitely a very respectable career and no doubt you have done a lot for the community! Thank you for taking care of our nation's children!
