My son is back from Afghanistan, needs riding partners in Colorado,

My son is back from fighting in Afghanistan, and he just picked up his sled from Montana and taking it back with him to base in Fort Collins, Colorado. Needs someone to show him some good riding areas and make some new riding partners.

He rides a 05 KK, and can certainly hold his own. I would appreciate someone taking him out so he can get a little riding in this year and do it safely. Please PM me if interested and I can forward your number to him.

He's agreat kid and has a great passion for sledding. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help him get back onto the snow!

Well tell him welcome home from me. I'm stationed in Korea right now, and my return assignment is Colorado, but I won't be home for another year.

If you want to give him my info I'll be looking for people to ride with at that time as well.

I know it seems far off and not much of a help in your current situation, but as I've seen from many years in the military, time goes VERY quickly.

Cheers

Thank you for your son's service. My son also got back from there about 3 weeks ago then came home to Minnesota for 12 days. Left yesterday to return to FT. Carson. Maybe they are in the same unit?????????? Small world sometimes.

I'm in Colorado but not currently riding as my sled is in pieces... hopefully it will be back together within a couple weeks. I'd be happy to point him in the right direction or possibly take him up when I get my sled put back together.

Thank him for me too. I'm in Whitefish so if you or him need a ride in the Flathead I would gladly help. My nephew was in the Marines on the Presidential detail protecting GW ( Was hand picked for that ). Said he was bored as hell and got himself out of that and vollenteered ( spell check )for Iraq. Went through sniper training and was deployed to Iraq. Proud of him and all the other soldiers we have.

Thanks for the comments and support, I'll pass all along to him. He's thinking about next weekend, so we'll see if it works out.

I may be trying to ride over in the Flathead this year, I'm still over in Cut Bank, so ya may hear from me!!!

Thanks again guys.
