that should keep me busy and BROKE!!

Might be almost impossible to find a CPI pipe unless you can haul your sled to them and have them build it for you. Dyno-port will be easier to get. That or plan on spending a lot of time watching ebay and searching online to fine the CPI.

Actually I found a cpi pipe on this site... $100 shipped! And the rider select delete are the only two parts on my list that I have. So if anybody has any of that stuff send me a pm!

Nice, Just an FYI on that pipe. I was going to ceramic coat mine and CPI told me not to. They said it lost 10 HP when coated to either powder coat of chrome plate it. I opted to buy a can of 2000 degree header paint. SO far it has worked great on the pipe, it burned off my Y pipe right away though.

i figured i finally post some pics of my finished intake my belt guard and the bumper and tunnel rack i made! oh and my $12 tunnel protectors!!

well dudes my stator crapped out at the end of last season, and now im faced with adressing the matter! i cant decide on what my best option is...

1- get current stator rebuilt...

2- buy new oem stator...

3- buy used low mileage stator...

im not worried about how much this fix is going to cost me, I JUST WANT THE MOST RELIABLE REPAIR!! so what do you all think is my best bet for fixing this stator issue FOR GOOD??

havce any of you guys done anything to to clean up the tunnel ext/cooler on the back of these sleds, i hate those 2 hoses and that cooler back there! can anything be done to convert to a newer looking rmk stlye tunnel extension! perhaps a different cooler that mounts under the tunnel?

This is what I did to hide some of it.

so i test fit my cpi pipe today. and the front of the pipe just barely touches the hood foam. as you all know the factory poo pipe has an enourmous heatshield and insulation around it. so i would have to believe the CPI pipe creates alot more heat under the hood, i do not want to wrap or ceramic coat the cpi unit, whats my best bet fo keeping my hood from melting over the front of the pipe?? cover the hood foam with foil tape?? or remove hood foam creating an air gap between hood and pipe, and cover inside of hood with foil tape?? .D.

how many washers do you have under the rubber gromet supporting the pipe?

you can shim it down if needed, just dont go too low or you will melt your fender.

congrats man..welcome to the ELITE 900 club. lol.

enjoy that baby...

make sure you continue to go through it and inspect/clean/update the common issue parts and it will be a fun sled...you came to the right place!! ;)

How many sleds are you "inspecting" this summer Sean?
