My MTX...

When I did my RX1 pre turbo I had an under tunnel on it with at least 6" of clearance. The pipe had a turn down on it which hit on the first day out and removed 2 paddles off of my then brand new Maverick. Cut them off just like a laser. It didn't contact until I hit some huge whoops in the trail and the rear of the skid compressed and the front of the skid dropped. Presto Contact. Yours will be close.

M5

Nice sled crow, but that muffler will get hit.

I'll have to assume that you guys have tried this setup and speak from experience...right? I can't imagine anyone coming on here tearing apart someone's hard work without first hand experience. If you've run this setup and had issues I'd appreciate your input, but otherwise what do your comments add to this post?

Every one is an expert bro! If it didn't work on a Harley, it surely won't work on an Arctic Cat, etc. etc. etc.!

I think some of the guys have your best interests at heart, and the others.... well good luck to ya.

I am doing something very similar. I figure if Yammi puts stuff under there, and I don't have any track marks on their stuff in 700 miles, I won't have any track marks on my stuff either!

I don't mean to dis your hard work as it does look great and I am not jumping on a band wagon that your pipe will get hit but I would hate to see that new track damaged after a couple of rides. I hope I am wrong because its a great idea so you can pack gas etc.Good luck.

Well, maybe this will put this to rest. Rode on Saturday, put the sled through it's paces and no track marks on the pipe. All the changes I made over the summer made a huge difference and worked great. Still need some betterboards though.

Yes, it's not a question of liking it or not. I liked it last year and with the changes, absolutely love it now. I just can't sit still and I want to build another one. I'll regret selling it, but I always do...

BTW Ski, found a powerline in the lower that rivals anything in Canada...
