My kid! At it again!

So I told you about the tree story on Monday when my kid and I went sledding.

Well now he is at it again! LMAO!

We have a couple acres on our property, I let him go out there and ride around. I can see him from my living room so I now what he is doing. I have given him instructions on what he can and can't do. He is out there riding in the dark tonight, because I finally let him do it because he proved to me I could trust him. I put a new light in his sled and let him go. Well I am watching him go around the property for an hour. Then all the sudden the headlight disappears. So I just figured he parked it and is coming in. Well he did come in. He comes in all excited and says he just jumped the canal! I am sh*tting my pants!

I go out there and he has lawn darted his sled into the other side of the canal! We got the sled out and then we had a little talk about rules. I told him how bad he could have gotten hurt. Then I told him he was grounded for 2 weeks from his sled....and if he broke one of the rules again he was done for the year. Then the tears come! Damn I hate that. :brokenheart:

Anyway, LMAO, glad the crazy little sh*t isn't hurt!

i'am going thru the same stuff now. it makes me laugh because i know all of his tricks because i did the same stuff 20 yrs ago when i was a kid.

LMAO...I wish I snowmobiled that young so I would know his tricks like you!

Remeber Dad, 2 days is like 2 weeks for a grownup....Becareful to issue not to issue a penalty that you are not ready to keep. The fun is only just begun, good luck LMAO.... My last one is 18, I have earned the right to laugh.

no point grounding him to tell you the truth just give him a good ole fashion beating lol. when you keep a kid off a sled they tend to venture into sh!tty music dress like homos and start getting into drugs.

Sounds like the kid needs more hp! :D

Seriously though my son's 15 and scares the chit outa me, he is absolutely fearless :face-icon-small-sho

What kind of example are you setting for him?
Glad he's not hurt, but you can't punish him for imitating his dad.
He could be the next great freestyle champ.

LOL....ya I later thought 2 weeks was a little stiff...but I think I will work something out with him....extra chores or something. ;)

Just something to think about...They learn real quick that "dad did mean it, I won't be grounded that long". I try to bite my tongue and not issue the punishment til I calm down enough to issue one that we can both stick to. Sounds like you have your hands full with that one. Tell you what though, better that than a couch potato that never gets in trouble for anything!

LMAO....I don't do anything stupid when riding with him. ....and ya no doubt he is gonna be a freestyle champ! no fear...LOL

LOL and true about the couch potato playstation playing kids, nothing wrong with video games in moderation though. I have a big project in mind for him....if he does it I am gonna tell him I will cut a week off.
