Man, I'd be pissed....
You're right, You should definitely go back to POO.
Around '05, Maybe a 900.
Yeah, there's your best, most reliable sled right there.
What were you thinking anyhow?
You passed up on riding the old school sled to upgrade to the worlds lightest, most technologically advanced sled on the market and for what?
Yeah, you need to go back to POO.

I'll bet that if I took the oil out of the reservoir, put in real hot plugs, Used garbage gas with water in it, went down 6 sizes in jets and held it wide open at sea level I could seize my DOO too then we could both be pissed.

I have been Poo for about 15 years and last year I got an 800R.
Alot of people told me it was junk and I would be rebuilding it.
I gave my Poo too my son.
Well, 2800 miles later and I have had no problems.
My sons sled, (the poo) has been rebuilt 2 times,
and today it went down again. The crank.
It has oil, the correct plugs, and...
sh!t just happens.
They can all have problems.
They are toys and toys are not cheep.

t daw hit the nail on the head . they are all toys think about what you are doing with these things they build em lighter and lighter and they still rev out at over 8000 rpm !!!!! ****s gona blow up. but that said "name brand" wars are the core of highmarking and braging rights!

Reliability

1) Luck of the draw and probability - Small reason for failures

2) User input or lack there of - considerable influence

3) They are all consumer products engineered to just barely work for the cheapest price. It is truly amazing they work as well as they do!

You are not gonna find love on the doo 4m for brand bashing :light: ...Dino

Every motor blows up at some point, long periods of spinning at 8000RPM under load in a wet nasty enviroment. Here is mine 250 miles on this bad boy

I have a friend that has a Freestyle Backcountry and it seized when he first got it. After 10-15 minutes it started up and headed back on the trip. Another good idea is to bring it back to the dealer and tell them it seized up and they will try to fix it.
