Well let me cut this short......Holly Mother Loving Hell this thing is fast:D

-I was very pleased with the way Travis had the suspension setup, rides fine on the bumpy trails and works great in the other areas…..although some Fox Evos can help keep the rear end up a bit for me
-You can feather the throttle very lightly and make the lag a bit more calm
-I need to spend some time familiarizing myself with the 200+ variables in the BD box……good grief, no big deal. She did bog down a bit later in the day
-I need more time figuring out the balance as I only know Skidoo stuff, she sidehills with no effort but the boards are a bit narrow and force me to hang one foot off while doing deep pow turns…hanging a foot out does seem easy, but this is something I have did on a REV/XP….learning curve I guess
-The USI skies are perfect for this sled

I hoped back on the 06 rev after a good day of riding the beast…….and the rev felt like a 120…..this turbo thing is better then the crack rock I smoked weekend after last

Sidenote - I rode near Monte.....Monte is the best!!:beer;

So, your not ready to drop the motor into the XP?? I have never ridden an M, so I guess it should be interesting. Hoping to get the maiden voyage on my TM8 eater tomorrow. ;)

spill the beans, what are you riding?.....you had a M1 last i seen you (2 years ago)

I cant see the M being a better chassis over the XP IMO......and the transformation will happen if i can find a great deal on a rolling XP chassis.....but i must say, im not hating the M, hell i kinda love it:face-icon-small-coo

LOL Nope, Shain tells me I wont need it. I am not sure I even know how to change one on the Diamond Drive, think I had drank too much beer by time we got to that part!! :beer;:D I just remember watching Shain be the $hit out of my clutch!!

CC, did you and Shain make it out today? just wondering what you think of the new ride?

Took the M1000 with Pump Gas Twisted Turbo out on its maiden voyage today!! I think this will definately be the funnest snowmobile I have ever owned!! Cannot believe how smooth it is.

Oh yes, it has plenty of Boondockabilityness too!! :D

Welcome to the Dark Side Hatch!:eek::devil::D Glad the sled is working for you. What kind of AFR's were you seeing when it bogged a little. I added a little fuel on the 12# boost setting just to be safe. You might want to back that one down a bit, especially at elevation.

Everybody do the snow dance!!!!!!!!! If this crap (ie weather):mad: doesn't change soon, I'm heading to Revy where they have around 10':eek:, from what I heard, and snowing every day since.

Revy Ski Resort only has a 30" base and 52.5" to date. you must've been meaning inches.

Ummmmmm......its hard to focus on somin you cant see:face-icon-small-win

I do remember the ambient temp dropped and the bog came shortly after, so its safe to say i need less fuel at that point......i forgot the boondocker .pdf at home so i fumbled through the settings and found a setting on the third fuel screen that had a 12 above a number.....did not know if i should go up or down at that point, so know i know that setting is proportional to fuel ratio.....thanks:beer;

and you and B1 better start calling me.....taking vacation the last two weeks of the year, two weeks in jan and two weeks in feb.......life dont suck:face-icon-small-ton

I think Hatchers gets full credit for that word from a previous post.
Pretty sure he was feelin the buzz on the magic carpet when he came up with it.:face-icon-small-dis

Was it Hatchers or Freak?? Anyway, I was trying to make sure I spelled it right this time, got in trouble last time when I screwed it up!!

As a side note, filled my sled for under $20!! ;) And I payed $1.37 per gallon to fill my truck. Woo Hoo!!

Yeah, you're right. It was Freak.:D
I hear ya on the fuel price. I'm still trying to get used to not dropping a hundred dollar bill for Diesel everytime I stop.
