My first ever ride in June

June 1st, just after work, I went for a 2 hour ride up Lake Creek. I hit the snow line about 2.5 miles past the parking lot (8100 feet elevation) and then the road up wasn't to bad the rest of the way just a few big whoops here and there. There was only a couple of bare spots.

Now I am looking forward to a few more June rides to get in shape for a July ride!! Maybe go for a birthday ride but that is highly unlikely that late in July.

I need to hook up with some of y'all and get up to the Mirror Lake area.

The snow line on the roof of the info board looks just like it did in late April. That is a crazy amount of snow still up there.

LMAO I seen that picture and thought it was exciting as well!!!! gotta love first week in June and huge snow amounts still left up high for us crazies that want to go and hit!!!

Was out of town on May 1st so I took this on the 22nd and couldn't find the roof!!!!

And the latest in the series from June 1st.
