My Facebook is trying to run my life!!!

I looking for my wife on facebook... has anybody seen her?

Phatty D if you want to add me and see what im doing ever second of the day... Or if you just want to see riding pictures from Team Boondockers each week! :D

It's called talking and a visit. Worked for thousands of years between people who were important to each other.

Well Dave...when's the last time you called me?? Oh wait...people who were important to each other...I get it. ;)

Don't be hating on the social networking - it's actually been very useful not only on a personal level (because i really don't have time to keep up with all of my friends, whether due to distance, insane work schedules, crazy family stuff) but for work as well.

I agree that the whole thing can become a case of TMI, and I could really care less about certain peoples status updates, but you can choose to ignore them.

I see facebook as Tequila on a work night, enjoy in moderation. I think its cool to spend 10 min a day on it to catch up with old buddies and say hi to people. Sometimes I feel like I’m stalking people by looking at their pics but they are the ones that put them up there I guess. I think the people that have 2,431 friends need to step back into reality. If I bumped into you at a house party one night in college and you yelled in my face “This party f*cking rocks dude…whoooooooo!!!!”….don‘t add me as your friend the next day because I am not your friend. The people that update their status every 15 minutes annoy the hell out of me….it’s pretty hard to be any more self centered than that. I have a few pics on mine of racing and this and that but the people with 200 albums of pictures of the same people in the same bar getting sh*t housed off the same drinks over and over again get a little old as well. I do find it fun to look at peoples profiles from college and find the people that grew up and the people that still think they are in college. One thing that is cool to me is I have my friends I race with and between them and their friends you usually can find pics of yourself in a race or something like that that you didn’t know existed. I have also met guys on it to ride without west and even sold a bike and sled on facebook.

It is very addicting, they have all these applications and things to play on, makes the day go by fast :D

Holy Hell!! I started a Facebook last week. Now like every 2 minutes i get a new friend alert or someone has written on my wall, or leaving me a message. This has gotten out of control I may need doctor Phil to help me regain control of my life!:face-icon-small-win:D

It is kinda cool to chat with peeps you aint heard from for twenty years!:face-icon-small-win

Anyone else?

Gay! Get to work..

You know you can turn off the email notifications, right? Keeps the inbox a little less cluttered.

It took me quite awhile to warm up to Facebook. I hated it at first. Now I'm addicted and check it all the time. Thank goodness for the Facebook app on my iPhone. :D:D

You are important to me....that's why we still make the (albeit)occasional contact on here or MSN....unlike the 80 people I graduated with in 1985....or the 60 people I went to college with in 1991....or the guy who sold me my first car....or the 87 ex-gf's...or...or...or....get it? BRAT. LOL. I guess I just don't get facebook myself....I just prefer to be able to choose who I stay in contact with....

Holy heck... between facebook, college humor, and snowest I think I might fail out of college. It seems every time I try to study for these finals I wind up on here instead... **** I even came to the library to avoid it and who'd know it didn't work
