My Dragon needs SOMTHING. Help me figure out what.

My white vents are from xxxmods they stay clean so far, although my sled is always in an enclosed trailer and haven't done much trail riding, brother and buddy gave me **** for them at first when I ordered them, then became a little jealous they all got black ones.

Thats a good looking sled. I love what the white vents do for the over all look of the sled. Very nice. But with my used riding ian having a hard time seeing how they would stay clean. My white front bumper is a pain to keep clean. But it looks nice. :)

I think powder coating the tunnel white would be bad a$$!! Maybe some black rails too.

Yeah it probably would be. :) but way to much work. And to hard to keep clean i think. The cool marks and blackys would never end. Lol i am looking into getting my rails and spindles done though. In black. :)

Ok So bit of an update, internet is back on. :) So I have ordered the JT side panel vents, white frame, black 80% fabric, and black rivets. Also Have the Skins rear bumper in black on it's way.

Thanks wyo900dragon

Here is a pic for wyo900dragon in particular. I got my JT side panel vents installed them and thought you would want to see how your idea came out in the end. :beer; It looks awesome, and they seem like a real good quality product. Looking forward to the lower under hood heat as well this winter. Here's a pic off my cell. Sorry for the quality. I will be moving my extra hood straps to the shock tower area, like MH said. Skinz bumper is on it's way, and will post pics of that as well when I get it on.

Okay since this is an opinon based thread, here is mine:

If that was my sled and I was watching budget but looking for options that would be purposeful and still look awesome I would-
1. Spindles, go with the Black Holz spindles, you lose some weight, better turning etc. Hold them up to it, if you like them all black then keep them black, if not do them white, but let me tell you, white spindles get super dirty and since you mentioned you hit brush, just like I do, they will be a ***** to keep clean and looking good and white.

2. Side vents for sure - the slp vents you have are great but side vents change the under hood heat so much it is not even arguable. But once again, take it from me DO NOT DO WHITE VENTS - they will be so dirty after a few rides you will be pissed, you can not keep them clean, there is to much exhaust fumes, and dirt that shows up on them. If you want to add some bling and have a usefuel product I would check these out JT Panels

http://www.jtpanels.com/catalog/item/6568240/6423425.htm

I would do White frames, with black screen and then black rivets, that would look pimp

3. Rails - Black Lightweight rails change the whole look of your rear skid, plus you can lose a good grip of weight with rails. I would do the ICE AGE lightweight rails anadoized black, 8" rear wheels for a 155. Plus if you get them ordered this summer you get free hyfax and hardware (check out the ice age website)

http://www.iceagemfg.com/product.php?productid=16144&cat=249&page=1

Black hyfax look really good, and dont spring for hyperfax, they imo are not worth it.

I have the Black Trail Tanks can as well - Big 2 thumbs up for that as well, I also have the Black Rear Skinz Bumper - 2 thumbs up again ( I went through 2 stock bumpers prior to this purchase) I have the Fastrax rails on this sled but had the ice age rails on my 900 Dragon, thought I would give the Fastrax a try but they are screwed up bc they were not made correctly so the geometry on my holz suspension is wrong; they were suposed to be for Holz but are for stock. All beside the point, buy the Ice Age.

I do not represent any of these companies, all though I should I am good at promoting them, I have just spent so much money and have had first hand experience with all these products. Here is a couple pictures of my sled, I too buy products that work good but try to keep color themes with all my sleds. Take it for what its worth

Wyo900........Nice ride

It looks like you need to lay down the cash for some boards. I like the background by the way, where is that taken?

Its definately on the to-do list, The pic was taken in Cooke City, perfect day but not enough powder can't have everything I guess lol

Looks sweet......................:D

To be honest having wrecked and totaled sleds before, that's all I think about when dumping a lot of $$$ into it.

Still missing a Billet pull handle.:face-icon-small-win

Really impressed with the way it turned out, since the minute I saw those JT Side panels and the options theuy offer in regards to frame color and screen color and even rivet color I thought they were sharp. I started out with Fire N Ice side panel vents which are great just a little plain. I put R&M lightning side panel vents on my wifes sled and they also work great just plain. I have carls side panel vents on my 797 and have an extra set of side panels that now have the JT Vents on them like 600xc did, hence the idea for him. I don't claim to "know it all" but I have definetely gone through my share of products and have first hand knowledge of them. Guys like Rob and Eric (MH) have been so helpful that I have just taken from what they have advised me and tried alittle of everything. Here is the link to JT Vents: (no I don't work for them or ride for them but maybe if they see my posts I might be able to pick up a sponsership, haha)

And other than a few color changes thats pretty much my ride. Im working on building a new sled this fall so it should be equipped with some of these parts.

Thanks guys for the compliments and great job 600xc

Polish the tunnel and polish the front spindles. The front spindles after you sand then down will polish out very nice. Polish the tunnel or to do a real good job just go VanAmberg tunnel

You need one of them 8 foot whippy fiberglass rods with the little orange flag.

A CB would be cool too...
Break one nine this is the Cottonmouth on the honeycomb psycho-billy RMK, come on
Yeah that's a negatory Red Rider on the cost of this here mo-sheen. I guess you could say I went and picked it up at the factory myself....it's cheaper that way. The boards? Oh they mo-better too.

(nice ride. I say a tunnel bag if you do any long mileage B/C riding

IMO... Youve got a great looking sled and just a few little things can really clean it up.

Ditch the chrome windshield and go with an all black windshield.

Take all of your vents off and paint/ powdercoat the frames black. The aluminum just disturbes the flow.

If you are going to put on side vents..go with black ones.

Powdercoat you riser black.

Mountain Addiction gas cans are amazing and you can get them in black, white, or any other color you want. Clean look and without a doubt the most secure gas can mounting system I have ever used.

Holtz Black spindles and you can upgrade the arms at a later date if youd like.

Van Amburg rear bumper - looks sweet (just ordered mine) and very reasonable pricing...

Black Ice Age rails are a nice upgrade if you wanna spend the jack on them..

Bar pad will clean up the top of your risers - get it in black

GOOD LUCK MAN!!!
