I got my seat finally this past Wednesday.
I worked out a deal with Kerry at Boss from a seat sent to me last season which was defiately not what I ordered.
The seat was properly ordered by Justin at Code Red Performance who has just been great throughout this whole ordeal.I would recomend him highly for a new Boss seat or any other aftermarket parts that you need.He went above and beond his role in this matter.
It was Bosses fault for shipping me the wrong seat last season,so instead of sending the seat back to get it changed,I got a deal on my next seat order.
Kerry was a bit reluctant at first but once he had all the facts and evidence there was no other choice but to agree with Justin and I.
Just giving credit where credit is due.

The current boss seat on my sled is an off the shelf seat that a dealer had in stock two years ago. Last fall I called Boss and was wondering what they could do for me as far as warranty goes because some of the stitching was pulling out around the zipper and also because the gas tank loop had broken off. Boss replace the whole seat bottom and sewed on a new tank loop and had the seat back in my hands in under a week after it arrived at their location.

I can't remember the name of the guy that helped me, he works in the warranty dept, but he went out of his way ( IMHO ) to get my seat fixed and back in my hands very quickly.

IMO they might take a while to get them built, but their customer service is top notch in my book.

It would be nice for Boss to get their asses together, but I still don't have the seat I ordered almost 4 months ago.

I'm still waiting on the TCP bumper I ordered in july....

they finally shipped it wednesday night.... :(
 
Boss orders

I got my first 50 in June. But the one that was not done took a while because they had a fire or something to do with the foam machine.
 
Wow, a good Boss experance, say it ain't so.. Maybe they are getting their act together at last.

Like I said in my original post,Kerry was reluctant at first.
He first blamed it on an error in ordering by Snow Jw (Code Red Perf)until I read him the tag on the original box which described exactly what I had ordered but thats not what was in the box.
He agreed to the deal on a new seat but wouldnt pay shipping until I explained that he would have eaten shipping both ways if I sent him the seat back to make it the way I ordered,scince I had already paid shipping once for the seat to me.
To that he replied that it wasnt company policy to pay shipping for warrenty items.
I explained that this was no warrenty issue,it was a plain and simple case of your guys boxing up the wrong seat.So scince its not a warrenty issue you guys can pay for the shipping on the new seat.
After sending him pics of the seat and tags on the box,there was no other way for him but to agree........thats why I say he was reluctant.
So yes... I had to prove my case beond a shadow of a doubt before I got any kind of compensation.
I guess he was just trying to do his job.

I feel that if I didnt have the evidence to back up my statements I would have gotten nowhere scince the guy that I was dealing with originaly about the problem ,previously to Kerry ,was fired or quit.
So I had to start from scratch again with the new customer service guy.
You draw your own conclusions.

Have not been on here much been busy with turbo installs. Anyways Boss made it right and that is what matters. This was a mistake on the color and such also sooboy was great to work with as well.

I had an order like this go south this year as well and for some reason I messed up and it came with a storage pouch. Anyways Sunshine at Boss stepped up and got one out right away so it looks like things are turning around so also Thanks Boss!!

Now if we can just get our seats 3-4 months faster that would be the ticket or on time LOL
