My 10 year reunion is this weekend....

My 15 year was last summer and it was a joke to say the least. It is funny to see how the girls that thought they were so hot, aren't any more. Just average, or below average looking women now that could stand to lose a few pounds. I didn't go to my 5 or 10 year, just my 15. Though I am definitely planning on attending my 20th......it will be some good comic relief.

I just skipped my 5 year last summer...I figure anyone I want to see or talk to I will or am...plus all I have to do is go out to the right bar on a weekend to see most of them and remind myself that I made the right choice for college and a job...plus my life!Heck where I live, they do that every weekend!-ditto

Oh yeah it is....best part I've found...out in the real world, nobody and I mean nobody cares who you were, what you did, what sports you were in or anything. Hell I was in the jazz band and knowledge bowl(quix bowl) and I now have a beautiful wife and some smoking hot chicks I fooled with and run around with now. And the in guys and girls from the day are still in each other, just fatter and working the same damn job.

This hit me today, I work in a medical institute and we had a young woman in recently who had broke down and cried because she had been with one partner, one time and now she is fighting against cancer which is a result from something she got from her partner. Sad thing is the guy is nowhere in the picture and she has to go thru the emotional and financial struggle herself. Long term pic, how will this affect her future, will she have a normal relationship, kids? Where is the guys responsibility in this? Think about it before your weekend. The woman has to pay the rest of her life and the guy walks away like nothing happened. I know this is happening every day, but why not stop it now!

I didn't even get invited to my 10 year, they said they couldn't find me - I still lived in the same town! I went to my 20 year, got hammered for the first time in years, and now I'm pretty sure they won't be inviting me back for the 30 year! (I was told I had a good time)

I couldn't wait for my reunions, I did the 50 lbs overweight ones while in high school.
