My 05 IQR Build

Yea if you're cruising on the trail you're not going to want to go over 70 for sure. I usually would stick around 60-65 just because I didn't want to wreck my track... and it held together well. But the speed limit is really only for when you're cruisin on the trail

Thanks1 Yeah ive thought about it but i really dont have any real seat time on it so I think im gonna try to ride it this year and make adjustments as i go. If it is needed i will get different spindles for it. I would probly either buy some from a guy that has already welded them shorter or take the ones i have and get them cut and welded. I considered getting some of the ones from poweraddictions but they r a little pricey.

Well im gonna go with 22-43 gearing for wisconsin and michigan riding. also found a helix yesterday for 20 bucks, Hope it works, its a 58/42.46 58/44.46. Thats the same helix that came stock in a 700 switchback so i think it should be perfect. Any other input is appreciated... just trying to get this pig ready to ride! LOL Gotta *THINK SNOW*:face-icon-small-hap

Blew my baby up over the weekend in the U.P! Not sure whats wrong yet but will find out soon when i rip it apart.

Nothing too new. Still trying to rebuild an engine to put back in it after the blowup! Going to be putting a 600 nonves bigblock back in it! Wish me luck!

Duck, is that y it blew up? lol. i like the slednecks skull!

Will probly work on it a little at "work" tomorrow...

would you no if i put a 01 600 ves motor in a 06 switchback could they do a reflash to get the motor to work? as it sits the motor wont rev up to make the sled do more than 24 mph. what was cost of reflash?
thanks

i would ask x2freeride what he thinks. He is actually the one that sent me in this direction. I would think u should be able to if u r putting a 600 ves into a 600 ho chassis. u should be able to use all the 600 ho electronics and reflash it for the 600 ves. the reflash cost me $50.

You do not have something plugged in or installed correctly. Are you using the 600 HO electronics on the 600 VES?

Timing curves were the same from 01-06 for the 600 Engine if my memory is right. The main changes to the CDI were for Perc and MFD rewiring.

Took out the Assault track and 2.86 drivers. I have a 144" cobra track on the way and will be either putting my stock drivers back on or ordering some new combo 2.52 drivers. Gonna be changing the gearing from 22-43 to 23-42 for a little more track speed. Will obviously have to change the clutching for the engine swap and will be ordering a quieter can from cpi for next year. This year didnt turn out too well but im hoping next year will be a blast! I will get some more pics up if i take some while im working on it!
