My D8 just went back to Skinz Protective Gear on Sat. They have done most of the mods on mine. I will be keeping it as it is already about the same weight as the new Pro.
They wanted to throw a set of the new running boards on it since I unkowningly bent mine last year. The stock outer rail is very weak. Could be an interesting summer of new goodies becoming available for the D8 and the Pro.
I just finished installing the Holz front end on it too. That was a nice clean installation and couldn't be easier. Very nice fit and finish on their setup and their spindles are a work of art.
I will get some pics when I get it back.

Looking forward to seeing the summer projects....The good part is, in my opinion there are some really GREAT D8's out there
