muffpot question

Yeah, well most of it, a small piece cracked from vibration/jumps so I lost about 1"x1" of it...

I can't even cook my frozen food yet there are some guys are spending hundreds of dollars on venting? This is making me hungry!

I must need more vents! haha
I can burn the chit out of lunch in an hour or less if I'm really trying.
Gave up on the oven bags after I fused 2 of them to the cooker. Now just wrap in foil and go.
Typically only do hot pockets since they're easy.

cooking times really depend on where you have it mounted

mine is on my can on my 800 summit only place it will fit it takes along time to get really hot even in deep snow on hard playing days

my daughter has a 340 fan polaris and hers is mounted closer to the y-pipe and on the main pipe and cooks ten times faster , smaller motor and CC but closer to the heat source

i personally like to take either a pork or nice beef roast and cook all day in crock pot till its ready to fall apart
then add some good hot enchilada green sauce some small chopped celery and some diced green chillis wrap in tortillias and freeze
in the mornings before i leave grab a couple out of freezer snap into muff pot throw on defoster as we drive to riding usually 45 minutes if we need gas
its thawing nice before we leave and usually ready by 1 or so

got this mount from woodsrider. very cheap and agreat guy.warms food hot to burnt in a couple of hours hasn,t vibrated loose yet:face-icon-small-hap

Do you have to take the hood off to get at it or can you just take off side pannel to acsess?

best way to cook elk keilbasa. usually can throw it in most of the morning on my m8 cooking off the muffler. I imagine my xm be similiar

The biggest rules for muffpot cooking.

#1- Solid foods use parchment paper!

#2- Foods with liquids, i.e. BBQ, Sauces, etc. Put them in a crockpot bag. No mess and throw the bag away when you are done.

#3- Never wrap your food in tinfoil. Unless you like gray aluminum tasting food. Wrap in parchment first then in tinfoil if you must. But if it is in parchment already you really don't need tinfoil.

Frozen food in a muffpot is not your friend. Throw it in the refrigerator the night before and it will be much better.

I make kits for the muff pot and the hot pot cookers for the 800 pro can make for 600 pro also. Most people are going for the muff pot as the latch is a little more secure and it is a little taller but it cost a couple dollars more, both will work. PM for price.

I am working on a mount kit for M and Pro Climb Cats. Testing has been slow due to low to no snow this winter. It will address the vibration cracking of base.

We run the Woodsrider set-up also in our household (Pro_RMK's). I bought one for my buddy also.

I have another buddy that installed his muff on the Y-pipe of his Pro and then installed a removeable hood vent for easy access. even though the y-pipe location seems to cook faster, I still prefer the woodsrider set-up o a Pro RMK.

Be careful with a pack of little smokies in a y-pipe installed muff set-up on a 55' F sketchy spring ride.

Nothing like hot food on the hill...

Just ordered and received two woods rider mounts for Pros, and going to order three more for my buddies! Excellent quality and fit.
Woods rider thank you and glad to know you make a kit for the 600 Pro.
I'll send you a pm for order!
