Muff pot on 09 assault RMK...

just a question for the masses; where have you mounted your muff pot so you don't burn your food, or have it still cold when your hungry?

I put mine on right ahead of the joint between the pipe and can, the side panel helps hold it in place and the food does not burn, but it does take awhile to heat up. I tried to install it next to the "Y" pipe but it always rattled loose in a short amount of time. This is on an 08 D8 with SLP pipe and can.

I have mine right after the Y pipe on my 07 700 Dragon and 2010 600 RMK. The key is to open up the bracket a little so it sits nice on the pipe and use a quality hose clamp. It sits nice and upright so there is easy access and no mess (oven bags are the best!).
