They are way up on the Sky already, so they have to be there as well.

Find schools above tidal water and use your weapons. If you are fishing in tidal water plunkin bait(fresh sand shrimp) can be a good ticket, unless they are super thick then bring out your arsonals.

In tidal water they come thru in school(off & on all day long and if they are netting it can be bigger periods between pushes of fresh fish)
They also dont stack up like they will above tidal water.

Yes the first fish wore small 2-3 pounder but the last few weeks or so they have been bigger 4-6 pounders

I floated from the put in above Gold Bar to Sultan today, for work, and I can tell you that the upper Sky, Wallace, and Sultan are relatively empty. There must be a ton of fish around Monroe and still waiting to come in. I’m betting that Sunday and Monday we will see a huge push of fish come into the rivers. I might try to fish after work durring next week’s - evening high tides.

I tried the silvana area briefly this afternoon. Not one fish rolling where I was. Left after 30 minutes.

Went to see if there was even any rolling where the rivier forks at arlington and it seemed VERY slow there too.

Tried below Stanwood Concrete plant at noon for a couple hours and had one on for a bit. Lot of fish jumping around and a couple guys up river seemed to have it figured out. Went out at 6pm high tide with a few new goodies with no luck. The fish were thick just up river in front of a gravel bar. Should of took a shotgun could of got some fun skeet shooting. I must really suck!! At least the beer was good.

Nice!!! I have always got my limit in the Snoh. in the past maybe I need to drop the boat in and try there. I just live real close to a few spots on the Stilly to try off the bank.
