Trying to decide between the berry fields near mt. Adams or a road ride at mt. hood for this sat. Doesn't mt. hood have a little more snow at this point? thanks.

I thought that first storm missed that area.:confused: might have to hit both of them and I don't have my sea legs yet, thanks for the report.

Its is good everywhere just got back from hood, lots of snow and only saw a couple people, some land mines but not many just watch out, waist to chest deep white stuff everywhere, and more snow on the way!!!

Good road ride at Hood today. We cut fresh tracks in about 30-40" of fresh all day long. Rode Frog lake area, and up to white river east. Frog lake trail to Skyline sno park has a bunch of trees across it, so avoid. Any body know how to post a pic. Any body ride St Helens yet?:D

Hey nitro13 were you and your buddy by chance both riding yammis? we were the ac guys you were breaking trail with up top... Didnt see anyone else till we left @ 730ish some guys were unloading heading out to break in there new polaris's

Where exactly is berry fields??

As your going up through trout lake twards Adams, hang a left where the road splits there's a cafe/gas station there. Follow that until you come to the next major road turn right I think there might be a sign, it's a few miles from there. You wind up at Flat top snow park. There's also Atkinson S/P but I've never riden from there. You have to ride those service roads awhile signs will take you right there. Good for boondockin when the moutain is socked in..

re: gorge riding

Just bought a house on Kingsley Rd last June so I've been riding up in the Defiance area as well. Those must have been your tracks I saw on Sat, and on Sun a pack of 6 went past my house on the way up. Made it up a 2nd time on Sun with the GF but we had a late start so just enough time to rally up to the reservoir and get stuck a few times. :beer;

yea we have been riding alot locally that was us. we have been riding from over on orchard rd to portland up to defiance. local cops have been ok. just want us to watch out and try to obey the road rules. lots of getting stuck going on. make sure to spend your sledding dollars at the new tots store on 12th street, good crew with lots of good stuff.
