Just wanted to make a post with new results and customer feedback.

We have about 25 of these systems out there right now with great success.

Pretty much every customer that has one of these calls us up and says "wow i should of done this long ago this thing runs awesome i had to change my clutching cause it is making more power"

"It has never pulled the front end like it does now"

"we drop down to about 3000' feet and ride up to 8000' sled runs the same at high and low elevation with no changing anything"

"fuel milage is same as front mount turbo sleds and just under rear mount sleds"

"Great throttle response no hickups"

Just a few quotes from customers.

We are still having a few small qwirks in the sea level tunes but just a little rich cruising but darrin and E&S is testing a new tune for us soon.

Please check out the website under this link for instructions and pictures..

Customers who do have this product please post up your feedback.

certainly if running stock compression limit it to about 8 lbs for safety and if running lower compression it just depends on compression.

wasnt there an issue with the cold motor/warm up fuel programming?

I know its nothing major just seein if it was figured out yet or not! Thanks heath!!

I had one of the very early Pro-Fueler's. MPI has worked very hard on this project and it has turned out GREAT!! There is no cold engine/warm-up issue with mine.

I can post more feedback based on my experiences later when I have more time if people are interested.

Had a few issues with the first map that we ran back in Dec but the new map is working great!!! the system is the best thing i have done besides putting the SC on.

Is this standalone sysytem only compatible with the prologger guage, or can it function without it? Also, what is the additional cost of adding the standalone to a stage 2 SC kit? Thanks Heath.

How is this system no tuning when it relies on a map to make the calculations, so every mod will require a map change? I realize it will work once the parameters are entered, are they just so wide that one map will cover all sleds different boost, compression, altitude, etc?

Maybe a better question is when would the map need to be changed after the intital install and say down the road engine mods get added or deleted, etc?

When is the apex system going to be ready? Can you address the question above. Thanks

I don't think Heath is with mpi any more. Pm Darren he is a good source of info about mpi products. I have been dealing with him the last few months and every time I call he has been extremely helpful.

Kinger9 I can answer some of your questions, and im sure some others who run an impulse standalone can chime in also. The standalone uses sensors to make it's calculations. The standalone uses map, baro, Coolant temp, tps, and intake air temp sensors, and there might be a couple more. So you wouldn't need a reflash for future mods. I think they are also working on timing control, which should be a nice addition to this system. This system is very user friendly and would work great for 95% of the people. But if you want a system that is still user friendly but offers user adjustment on the hill "NM" here on snowest has a system that is worth looking into.

LMAO! thats funny!!! heath no longer with MPI?

Probably got tired of all the BS and complaints that he said he was gunna take care of as part of his personal customer service!
