We moved back to gwinn last winter from montana, A forum ride in da up sounds good to me..
So did you by any chance just buy a new all black sled from the A/C shop at the cross-roads?
I haven't been on here in a couple months. Been buying furniture & unpacking & remodeling. Yes, I was worried they wouldnt beable to get me the M8 Limited but they did. Still have lots of work to do on the house but I am ready for snow! Were you at the snowmobile meeting in Gwinn last week?
No I wasn't at the meeting. The mechanic, who is a friend of mine, at their shop mentioned that someone from Alaska that just moved here just bought a new black M8. Figured it was you!
That was me, just bought some other sleds from them for my wife and kids and a couple back ups. They seem like good guys down there. Give me a ring when we get some snow so we can ride!
Hey Mike! Pretty crazy that we dont have any snow yet....I am going to have to do some water skipping if this keeps up! Seems like we had to water skip to much last year getting back to some of our secret places. How are things up there? I hear Turnagain and some other places have snow...
turney has good snow..p-ville has trail ride snow..and everywhere else..a couple of inches..tim, doug and I are on mad scramble to see who can get their sled to move first(I think I am going to loose that one)...but we are good for sure..sounds like your doing good as well...just bone your sled and it will start dumping..thats what we did....
I ride with the stickerguy most of the time.He has a place in Mancelona.
ive just gotten my michigan residency... moved from minnesota and worked downstate last year then moved to colorado for the winter to ride. got my first taste of the mountains. now im back in howell and planning on making many trips up to the UP this winter... and i dont plan on trail riding. maybe someone could show me some of these spots?

Well im 20 min out of gwinn in the big town of traunik... I would be up for some rides this winter. I hate the trails so will stay off as much as possible.. No real big hills from here to gwinn but there is some decent stuff in the rock river canyons just north of chatham.. I lived out on KI for about 4 years so I know that area good. and there are some nice bowls out in the silver lead area and some excelent riding in sands.. hit me up if you wanna go for a ride this year. Im on my way up to buy a new sled right now!!! '10 Summit X 800 with the 154" track...
Im getting the itch to ride. Still need to meet some of you off trail guys! If your around Gwinn or Marquette lets meet and grab a burger before the snow hits? Also looking at getting a new sled, my 2010 M-8 is awesome but I get the itch to update after a couple years.
