I would buy a 1st year Fuji motor in a heart beat. For all you youngsters out there, Fuji built all of the motors for Polaris from 73-97. And some of them beyond 97 like the bulletproof 340f and 550f, the 500 liquid ect... Fuji knows how to built a great motor. We shall see just how cat fairs at building their own motors in the near future. Imo, they are making a big mistake if they divorce from Suzuki....

Except for the indy 600 triple....disaster. Or the 650 RXL with efi. The good old days! I hope they stay with American made!

I dont think Cat had much choice in the divorce. Hopefully they can make it without them.

Agreed, the early efi's did suck! But just the fuel system. Not the motor. They just ran fat and were gutless compared to what the motor was capabile of putting out. Which 600 tripple, the 600 pre 650 or the xlt? The xlt was a good motor minus a few with cranks that slipped index.

I really doubt Polaris will bring back Fuji, but you just never know

Maybe Poo can use Yamaha's strokes, they will never need them again. I ran their 2 stroke outboards through the 90's and they don't quit. Too bad they don't know how to make a sled!!

If I could sum up this whole sled war thing, it would be 4 kids playing basketball, the skidoo kid rocks up full of confidence ready to play hard in his little yellow shorts, the arctic cat kid has some new moves to show everyone but is not sure how he will play, the Yamaha kid rocks up, looks at the skinny other kids turns his fat arse around crying all the way home. Then the polaris kid shows up jumps from the free throw line and slam dunks ripping the rim off the backboard. Game over!!
