Mountain Mod Mania grabbed my girls

I own most videos on the market. I enjoy all of them. I have tried to get my girls (wife and 14 year old daughter) to watch them with me. They loose interest pretty fast.

I bought Mountain Mod Mania 6 at SL show and popped it in Sunday. I expected them to watch for a few minutes and disappear. Wrong, The first section that showed all the guys pulling Monster or the Gash or what ever it was ( maybe both) got them hooked. They had me start it over several times. They thought it was cool and interesting. They both commented on how they now understand what it is I do every time I ride and come home tired. It showed guys making it to the top and getting cheered for doing so. It also showed guys who didn't make it to the top and how everybody worked together to help pull them up. It was the best representation of what a day of riding is like for me that I have ever seen on video.

I agree! My inlaws were much more interested in the sport after having seen MMM6 and better understood what a "good day of riding" actually meant.

It was my favorite segment in a movie so far this year. My wife actually sat though it as well. I was surprised, but I don’t think it did me any favors. She left shaking her head mumbling under her breath and that’s never good.

I have BD4 and A7 at work... watch those on occasion. I have two monitors for a reason...

Every now and then someone comes by and watches a few mins of it. Don't think I've hooked anyone yet.

My 2 year old cousin sat and watched 509 Evo., TS 7, and Alticity 4,5,6, and 7 with me, over and over, for 6 hours straight, and that was mostly sled sounds and the speakers cranked!



Never mind the fact I was wearing my helmet on the couch.

the only videos that my one year old can watch for any length of time is sledding videos. he likes them better than any of his baby videos that are produced by teams of baby psychologists.

this new age of climbing videos can really grab the attention of the general public. I can see these videos being played at restaurants, bars, and clubs one day; same as surfing or snowboarding videos are today.

I hope our sport will never be that popular though.
