Mountain Meadow cabins gas?

Bring some can's and head down to Centennial seems to be the only option unless Snowy Mountain Lodge reopens. Probably save you some money in the end considering what gas cost on the hill.

Call Mountain Medow and ask what your options are. A few years ago they use to have gas for sale to the people staying at there lodge but with current epa regulations they may have stoped storing gas.
As stated above bring extra cans and drive to Centennial.

The rental place actually hauls their gas in from the Friendly Store in pu tanks. Dave wouldn't cut a break.
The gas situation is being looked at.
Right now there is just a narrow path past Greenrock to SML, just enough to get a pickup through. One big storm and it could fill clear in.

Coming up from Albany and riding out north, just not any good options I can think of. I saw a couple of fellas ride down to Centennial one day, but that has to be a PITA. Hauling all you can on the sleds, or bringing a truck up to Greenrock(again a PITA) is 'bout all I can think of at this point.

We are staying Albany but do all of our riding up North. What is our best options for gas? Can't hardly justify going back to Albany for gas!

Load up your sleds with gas and stash the cans in the trees halfway to whereever you are going. On your way back top off the sleds and take the empty cans back to Albany with you. Carry a little extra on the sleds in case of emergency.

That is about the best I can think of.....

Couple places that sell gas on the west side if you are going that way.

Will probably head over west this year. What a pain! Is that station open over west along the highway? Or is there something else you recommend?

Rendezvous should be open and selling gas (according to the map)

phone number is 888-326-8998 might not hurt to call them before you head out.

Got cabins booked at Mountain Meadow first week in Feb. Where does a guy get gas now. Going to be there for 3 days of sledding.
No good answer, except to take a ride to centenial everynight for fuel. You can fill at both the Rendezvous and The Place on the west side

We will be staying at MMC beginning of Feb as well. Last time we stayed at SML, we carried 6-5 gallon jugs on the trailer, made a nice rack for them too. For 3 guys we only had to go down to Centennial every other day. (Using an average of 10 gallons a day).

Head up with full tanks and full 2-3 on the back of the sled, that is a lot of gas!

We will probably see you up there!
