Mountain Cat swaybar suspension help

Have an 01 Mountain Cat Le.

The guys I ride with have Kings. I like how they lay over on a sidehill, much easier than my MC.

I took off my swaybar thinking the mountain cat would be the same. Not the case. It would want to lay over going over the smallest bump. Very tipsy.

I stiffened up the front springs quite a bit and it still was unpredictable. It would torpedo and nose dive on the slightest hill. Spent the whole day digging it out.

How can I remove the swaybar and still have a decent ride?

LE

The thing with the LE models is that they were a wider ski stance. 41" I think, where the kings are narrower. I also believe the springs were softer on the LE. . Will be easier to pull over without sway bar, but still not a KING. JIM

It sounds to me like your shocks could be bad. I've taken sway bars out of the older models and have had no ill effect other than cornering slower on the trail. You may need to tighten up the spring on the front of the skid some too, you may have too much weight on the front.

Yep, you might have to much ski pressure, Either drop the front of your skid, let out your limiter straps or tighten up the spring on the front of your skid. One or all of these will eliminate some ski pressure.
