Mountain bar replacement

Probably a dumb question but how do I submit a warranty claim for the mountain bar on my 2017 Axys? Mine broke this week and would like to see about getting it replaced. $200 for a new one sucks. Much rather get it under warranty. If it is under warranty are you generally changed anything?

You pay $50 for warranty deductible. For warranty, your dealer will have to show that it failed. If you hit it and it broke, then that is damage - not warranty. I already went through this exercise. Cheapest bar combo I could find was at Babbitt's Online.

I cut the tabs off my crossbar and flipped it over.

Done.

I have looked at this debacal and think I would replace the cross bar and mountain strap with the bar and strap from a PRO then you can just replace the mountain strap if it fails. lot less mony in the long run!

Are you talking about the cross bar or the strap? Fly Racing makes a $65 Dan Adams NXT LVL bar that is pretty close to factory and has a cross bar with mounting holes for the factory strap.

I am talking about the strap. Ill have to look up the Dan Adams one. It looks like the strap and crossbar are one piece

Sorry, the Dan Adams one is compatible with the pro ride mountain strap. I forgot that the bars and strap changed with the axys. Could still be a cheap fix if you can find an older style strap somewhere though.
