Mount Baker/Schriebers Meadow/Glacier Areas are blocked by trees

As I am sure you are aware the Glacier Riding area is closed due to the over 100 trees across the Mount Baker Highway. The groomer was up at Mount Baker/Schriebers Meadow area today and we have the same issue up in that area. He spent all day cutting trees to only make it to the first parking area...see the pics.

There will be a work party tomorrow to try and clear the road, so if you are planning a ride in the Schriebers Meadow area, bring your chain saw and plan on helping clear trees. You can't get in! We could use your help if you are coming up.... Northwest Glacier Cruisers

So I need to know ? who again doesn't want to contribute a few more dollars to our winter recreation / groomers fund ? or who is against raising more dollars to keep our areas open ? Fair question isn't it ? speak up and please state your case again ?

As you can see, this is not always an easy task. Our groomer Randy goes above and beyond time after time after time to keep this area accessible to everyone.
