motor mounts (video)

i have a 2012 assault 155 with 1800 miles on it. i seem to be going through belts every 200 miles so im thinking maybe one of my motor mounts is bad. i went to the dealer and he said there was two parts to it. so i went and looked and found that there is the rubber insert what you can see in the video and the other part of the mount you really cant see. is this what i have to change is just the rubber insert? kinda confused so any help would be much appreciated. can anybody let me no if this mount you see in the video have normal play or is it bad. it seems like alot of movement to me.here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJKkGvwjGok

I agree with ezsmoke. It's excessive for sure. They should have very little to no play in them. I have a 12 and when I lift on the primary, I can't get it to move any amount that is noticeable. Riding partner had a 13 and he'd get just a very small amount of movement.

I have a 12 pro rmk (1800 miles) that i have the engine out of right now, last night i noticed that the rear pto side motor mount was partially crushed and that would result in the same problem you are seeing, i will be ordering new mounts. I cant believe at 1800 miles that these are bad, Polaris better not use the word "Durability" to much in the advertising until the know what it means!

This is ridiculous, engine is out for long rod because i don't need engine failures in the back country that i ride, installing new running boards because they are cracking, and now motor mounts all at 1800 miles! WTF

I cant imagine what these sleds look like after someone half my age (54) has 1800 miles on one!

Sorry, i'm done with my rant!

They've got to do something to get a little more life out of it . Bad harmonics = short lived life . Others have been running mounts like this for years , stick a good torque arm in and you'll feel what I'm yapping about threw the running board on the left side more so and the bars but she'll pull harder threw out the power bad . Would this void warranty ?
