Motor mount help

I have one of those belt eating M1K so I ordered another motor mount and a torque stop to try and resolve this problem. I have the motor mount and torque stop but the mounting brackets are on back order and I can't wait tell mid January for these parts. I think I can fabricate part #19 easy enough but I don't know what to do for part #20. Any ideas about how I can fabricate that part or can any body thing of anything off the shelf that will work?

Here is a pic of what it will look like installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Quick question where did you get the torque stop on the left side of the motor. Did you make it? Thanks

I can't help you with part #20. What looks tough is the way the bolts look like they angle in going into the mount. I think you will want to only do it once though. Doesn't look real easy to get into. What I would recommend to you is to lay the #18 part (the mount itself) underneath the engine running back towards the tank like this fellow did in this post:

I think it would really help the strength aspect the mount is taking and it may be easier to get at to put the right mount on once you get it. Actually you could almost run it like this until you get the backordered part if you could get at it from the underneath. It would be "locked" in there so it couldn't move I wouldn't think!

Just so there is no confusion the pic of the installed parts above is not my sled, I found the pic off of B-C-R from somebodys build. The torque stop can be bought from Arctic Cat for $10. As far as mounting position of the extra motor mount I think Martin (Arcticthunder) put it in a good spot where it will be more effective then what is pictured above. I was hoping this would be a quick bolt on instead of a fabrication project, I was just going to do it the same as what is pictured above but if I have to make the mounting bracket I will probably do it like Martin did. I am still going to need some way to secure that motor mount to the sled though.

Crap I just ordered that same part. My dealer didnt say it was on back order though.. But I bet I will be in the same boat as you.
I have the mount(#18) but not the bottom cap piece(#20).
Let me know if you come up with something. And I will do the same.

Ya my dealer didn't let me know until they placed their order and found out it was back ordered. If I had a lathe I would just make my own but I don't. If I figure something out I will post it up.

I know about your problem. I am having a machinist make me a couple. One for me, and one for a buddy and maybe for you too?

Pm me if interested. Im trying to meet with the guy tomorrow to get a price.

my motor mount

the bracket bolted to my motor on the pto side is our own mount. I can make more if people need just send me a pm.

thanks,
Michael

Can somebody explain to me why the bracket on the mag side will not work on the PTO side. The only way I don't see it working is if the mounting point is not exactly halfway between the bolt holes. I am assuming I am missing something could somebody please point it out to me.

Well I got the call today. It is on back order till January something. (Just like everyone said).
Now Im on a search for one or something that will work. I just spent my lunch hour combing the local hardware and farm store for anything that might work. No such luck.
Pmed you Rocky..hopefully you can help a brother out.

I want to thank RockyMtn.Kris for helping out with the needed part. He had a few of these made at no profit and even sent me the part before receiving payment.
Thanks again,:beer;:beer;
