Motor Down

Piston are same basic specs, redesigned, cranks are diffferent they are lightweight porkchop. Cylinder is slightly different with the new exhaust valves. Ill probably put a fix kit in mine ar about 1000 miles. Ill have to see how it will work with my slp pipe and if (probably will) it need a fuel controller

My bad, disregard. I dialed up the 2016 RMK parts diagram not the Axys one.. I'll step out this one.

Yup, pro and axys motors ain't much different. Tempted to put an old 910 bb in the pro chassis, tired of the pro engine blow ups.

Bore stroke rod length. Im just saying the problems that the pro engine had are going to still effect the axys engine. All they did was put grooves in the pistons.

Well Polaris continues to improve the motor with tighter tolerances, finer hone and polish in the cylinders, better pistons, etc. I hope the 800 HO does prove to be better. So far I'm very happy with mine.

Oh im happy with mine as well. And honestly with any engine that makes over 3 hp per cubic inch, I expect it to need freshening up pretty often.
