My hubby went through a similar experience 2 years ago this month. Jan. 24th to be exact. By March we had him in West Yellowstone riding the new cat sleds. Have to admit his was not able to ride the way he normally did for awhile but at least he was out there trying. Especially since he was only doing it for my benefit. He had to replace one of the sled he burnt up for me.
He still to this day has some tenderness in the hands. No graphs on the hands but with the way that it healed we think it would have been better to do at least the one hand. He did have a graph on the back of one of his legs and he will tell you that where they took the skin from was worse than the actual burn sight. All those nerve ending being exposed was killer. At least where the burn was the nerves were burnt too, so not as much feeling there.
Anyways, god speed on your recovery and it sounds like you have some snorting to do so get healed up quick.
