Monte Cristo Status

Has anyone been up to Monte Cristo lately? Thinking about heading up there for a last spring ride but would like to get some information on conditions if anyone has any.

Snotel say about 20" at dry bread and about 48" around the top.


Also based on the camera it looks like the gate at the parking lot is closed but a week or so when I looked it appeared open. I know it may just be swung closed but if anyone has any 1st, 2nd or even 3rd hand info that would be great.

Talked to UDOT. The gate is closed and they are up there working on getting the road cleared now. They say the road and gate will be closed until the last week of the month when they will have the road cleared.




I NEED AT LEAST ONE MORE RIDE!
