Kind of funny that someone as wimpy looking as this guy in the picture would make fun of people for the type of helmet they wear.

I didn't know that being "a true mountain rider" involved belittling others because they don't buy a cool helmet.

I thought the funny part about the video was the guy with the helmet cam doing his best Andrew Dice Clay impersonation. I've actually met a few people like that.
My wife and I got modular motorcycle helmets last summer because you can get them on and off without taking your glasses off. They aren't like the ones people are posting here though, they look like regular full face street bike helmets when the face guard is down, and the visor goes up and down without having to raise the face guard, and they aren't designed to have the face guard up while riding. When we got a couple of snow mobiles, I couldn't see any reason not to just use our street bike helmets.
Do does this make me doubly geeky and even less of "a true mountain rider" because not only do I wear a modular helmet, but I wear a street bike helmet for sledding?
