Modular Helmet Modules?

I ride the back country of the west and I'm never without my modular. I just bought the new modular Bell came out with. Sweet. Follow the crowd or be your own person. I love the group think on here. Freezing your face off, carrying multiple sets of goggles because they get wet or fogged. Did I mention freezing your face off?

Get off the trail and you will not freeze your face off.

I end up riding at -30 at some point every season. MX helmet, balaclava and a NoFog mask. (maybe a little strategic duct tape) No frostbite ever. Not one little cell.

In all seriousness, the modular helmet is only meant to be worn on trail systems in North Dakota and Minnesota at club trail rides by the over 50 club for the main purpose of not having to remove their helmet in order to drink a beer.

Cold 40 .oz Shlitz and a TOBE one piece round out the ensemble of this years Dakota Trail & Ditch Bitches member admiring his clubs newest Yamaha..... :rain:

Modular or MX, Skidoo or Polaris, Ford or Chevy, Coke or Pepsi, duct tape or no duct tape. Use what YOU want to use, but criticizing another's choice to justify yours is just lame.

Here's a picture of me trail riding. Have a nice day.

Nice fckin modular helmet.

Everyone is lame. But that guy that inspired the movement in scott's video (in what was that now, the 70s?) deserves some fun. Not because he's a bad person but because scott's reaction elevated him to godly status.

And making fun of modular helmets is funny. No one hates you because you wear one, but they're still funny. It ain't physics, it's an internet meme, with all the moral significance of that what implies. Which is essentially nothing.

This isn't something that matters. It's just some nice fckin modular helmets. :D

I have never seen a thread on modular go anywhere without it all turning into good hearted fun..

If I found one that was as fog resistant as most goggles and was light and had colored shield options reasonably priced....I would really consider purchasing one.

But for now its not an option so I stick with my mx with two pairs of goggles with quick straps and the eliminator fan...

I never said I was a mountain rider. There's always going to be somebody better than you.
I like my mx helmet because it's what works for me. Other people I have talked to and have sold helmets to at the shop like a modular because it's what works for them. No judging, all in good fun. Like m8 said, I have yet to see one of these threads be serious. It's the internet people, put your big boy pants on.
