i am thinking of running an slp single and a team secondary clutch kit, I had problems holding rpms last season, 7800 while climbing, i already have vent kit, shouold i do a gearing swap as well, also thinking of getting a dynojet pcIII, anyone try it?

What helix and spring are you running? I had the same problem with the stock helix so I changed to a 60-40-.36 and have had much better luck. Also, are you running the polaris 115 belt or something else?

Full bore Dragon,

I have a 2007 Dragon 700, installed the PC III, BEST mod I did. Got rid of that dreaded lean spot in the mid-range and leaned it out on top, plugs look GOOD now, were always black before.

If you're going to buy one, DYNOTECH Jim has the correct mapping for the Stock D-7 AND the SLP SINGLE piped set-up as he dynoed a 2008 D-7 on Jan 1, 2009

Although the PC -3 works great, the new hot lash is the PC-5 same $$$$, $365.00 shipped, and for an extra $250.00 you can have the Autotune option, or you can add the Autotune @ a later date.

Also check out the thread I just put together titled "TECH TIPS 600/700/800 CFI's Free Mods & Best Bang for the Buck"

I think you'll find a lot of useful tips for your 2008 D-7 there.

Hope this helps.
