So I picked up my 2014 XM Summit X on last Friday and today started pulling the skid out to install my E-Motion rear suspension. I get the skid pulled and up on my work bench and immediately notice its missing 2 of the grease zerts, one on each of the tubes where the axle slides through to bolt up to the tunnel (so the bottom side of both the top swing arms, front and back). There are holes where the zerts should be but they are not threaded. Is this the norm or what? every other sled I've ever owned or seen the rear skid has zerts in these locations. Did I get a Friday built sled or what?? Is anybody else noticing this?
Not too big of a deal, will just have to get a nut and weld it on (cant just thread a zert in since the axle that slides through would hit it) then thread a zert in but just seems a little odd to me...If anybody else is noticing this please let me know or if there is a reason its like this could somebody clue me in?
