Well I loaded up my dads sled today and wow! My king cat with the 162" just crawls up my deck, I can almost stop on the ramp. But my dads holy crap! Mach Z with a 136" the tank just wouldn't go up I took a 10ft run WOT and it just would spin on the ramp and slide sideways. Tried a 4ft extension so the ramp was 12' plus 1' v, same crap! Had two people pulling on the skis and it just wouldn't go up. The angle is really steep, even a bit worse then yours Steveo10.

Really need to find myself a 10' or 12' ramp.....or cough up the money for a fancy alum.....considering I am overloaded with my 3500 anyways.

I used to have a deck. Got a piece of 4x6 angle iron, bolted the which to the angle iron, then bolted the angle iron to the deck. Came in handy for ATVs and non-running sleds.

As a minimum you should have one of those inexpensive come-a-longs. Install an appropriately placed eye-bolt and have sufficient cable and straps. You might have to use a secondary line to hold the sled in place while re-setting the come-a-long.

Check the deck tie down system as well. Most decks use turnbuckles to bolt the deck to truck's bed. Inspect the truck bed eye-bolts and make sure you use adequate turnbuckles. I had some break on me.

With the above said, I lowered my CG by roughly 20 inches by going to a four box flat bed http://www.bradfordbuilt.com/ It is a lot safer for loading, as well as for jumping off the deck(flatbed) after the sled is loaded.

Loading sleds is not a laughing matter. It is dangerous. People who are cavalier about this will end up getting hurt one day.

Cyle, look like you need some air bags in the back. That front end looks a little pointed up?

I might, but I more then likely need the offroad shop to send me the right shock bushings! The rear shocks are stock and pull the rear down so i'm not sure how it should actually sit, but without a load I think it's a bit nose high, it sits about the same with 1 or 2 sleds on it. My air bags no longer work since putting on the lift, got to modify them next summer though. It weights a lot more then it looks though, tipped the scales at a hair over 10,000lbs. I hope I don't get pulled over when i'm going sledding with another 3 buddies and their gear
