Had a great 1st season ride today with the wifey and kids....did some great cruising, got warm at the mirror lake hut, got stuck in some deep powder a few times, and the kids even did some sledding. Beautiful day today!

is there a warming hut at Mirror lake?
There sure is!
So when you turn off mirror lake highway down to mirror lake, you get to the bottom, turn left and there's a little cabin style hut on the left. You can't miss it! They keep it open during the winter as a warming hut. We stopped for about 1/2 hr, had lunch inside, let the kids warm up, turned on the propane fireplace. There's benches, a couch and some chairs to crash on.
Like I said take the road off the highway down to the lake and once you get to the bottom it's on your left

Funny, we've had a cabin up there for 15 years and had no clue. Don't ride to Mirror Lake but think we would have heard about it.
