errm what? I sincerely hope your not trying to convince me that this is how I live my life. I can promise you no matter how bad things get for me I will never work a minimum wage job my whole life. Know why? Its because I'm motivated and I'm going to be someone someday.

not entirely true, sometimes life happens and you might not have a choice. if you are not working right now, itd be good to get a part time job at the least, and make them remember you, cause if life happens to take a wrong turn for some reason down the road, you will have a better chance of having something to fall back on till you get back on your feet. but always shoot for the stars in the direction you want to go. thats how people succeed big time. you seem to have a way with words for being 18. use that, but dont get too cocky with it. youre in a better position than most cause you have some sort of intelligence.
I have a summer job at the local country club that I work at in the summer and if I needed to I could be full time there at $13-15 an hour depending on tips. I used to work minimum wage at a honeybakedham store when I was 16, but now I've moved up to 9$ an hour working only seasonally. And I've gotten a job offer as a pharmacy tech for this summer $15, so no I will never have to work a minimum wage job again. That's 3 options right there and I'm very confident in my ability to find another if necessary. You act like I'm an ignorant kid when your only 5 years older than me, and in all actually I've spent a lot of time planning things out whether things go for the better or the worse. I've made a lot of friends in the job place(management) through my hard work and friendly nature which is important for when I need references in the future. While I don't know everything(yet lol) I feel like I've got a better grasp on reality than most people my age(for example I spent $150 or less a month and I know people who drop $200-300 a month on booze).

i didnt say you were ignorant i jus got done praising you for your smarts. im just saying, life happens, and sometimes something happens that isnt in your favor. not saying it will happen to you, just sayin its a possibility. Nobody is invincible. But if you keep your positive mentality im sure you will be fine.
