Mint Condition '03 Escape 800 Custom Mod

I have a 05 800 it has a slp single pipe on it. I use the stock polaris clutching. What I am asking do you any tricks that I can try to get a little more out of my sled in the clutching and what gears are you running. Thanks hope to hear back from you. Located in ND, ride cookecity alot.

Have you ridden it since you put the highrise on? What do you think of it? Do you think the seat makes them handle better?

Completely changes the response of the sled, especially if you have taller bars. I did notice that I had better weight placed on the ski's when going down the trail on my way to the hills. As far as riding in the hills, the transition from sitting to standing is so much easier. I'm going to buy another for my other edge sled. Buy one!

I lot of this depends on what track you are using. My recomendation is to contact SLP and let them know what you are riding. They will give you the best recomendation.

I doubt you are maximizing the SLP single with stock clutching. I have an '04 700 with an SLP single, 162 Challenger with 7 tooth extoverts and I'm running stock 19/39 gearing (I think that's right on gearing?). But I've also added SLP clutching recomendations and this sled pulls 8200 all day long and really works well. It's won't put up record top speed, but it's great in the hills.

My 800 escape isn't even close to what I'd recommend for your setup. Give SLP a call and see what they recommend.

good luck
