Military Request for Snowmobile Movies from Overseas

Its not very often that I get a letter like this one.
Would any of you be up to meeting this request??


Hi Christopher,

I'm sure you get tons of emails requesting stuff, but this is more of a favor if you can. I'm currently serving overseas on a project to help protect our soldiers that protect US. We have enough internet to get email but not enough to download videos (one of these clips would take several hours).

I have a few buddies that have no idea what snowmobiling is and I would like to show them.

Is there a chance you could burn a copy of some of these new video teasers you just e-mailed me about and send it our way? I'm an Idaho boy and would like to show these Alabama and Florida boys some real fun. It would be great if there is any water skipping in there also. We can watch movies. If you can help, I'd appreciate it. Let me know what you need from me.

So here is my thought.
If one of you are well skilled in video compilation, and could download the HD versions of each of the video teasers and compile them onto a DVD, I would be more than happy to ship it over to this guy. I am thinking maybe we toss in a handful of real Sled Movies from last year to go along with the teasers.

If someone on SnoWest is up to this challenge, let me know.
I will reciprocate with a 3 year premium membership or an extension of your current membership.

If I was any good at this sort of thing I would gladly do it. My room mate just got out of the marines and did 2 tours and one of the biggest things he was looking forward to and doing when he got out was riding sleds again. Hopefully somebody can help this guy out.

probably the easiest way. They can use the thumbdrive afterwords as well.

Just to mention, the USPS has military flat rate boxes that are a couple of bucks cheaper when shipping to an APO address. Well, for the large flat rate boxes anyways...

It has been suggested that we not worry about sending these guys the teasers, and instead gather up a load of the FULL MOVIES and send them over to them.

Have to admit, these sounds like a much better idea.

And then in a couple months, we send a second care package with the new ones that come out?

I agree... cant see any of the producers saying "no". We know all the names... the above guys along with Davidoff and Burandt for "schooled". If getting it together is gonna take awhile... maybe members could step in. The member just buy a video, post which one he sent... the address is right there. I would even start...
