something shorted could give you that reading too. I know some of the guys have said they had shorts in hand warmers before.

I disconnected the hand warmers... Still the same thing.

You said that your battery indicator on the mfd was low; this can be a sign of a bad capacitor. The capacitor is easy to check as well....

I just tested the cap and it looks to be bad. Id charge it and within 5 seconds its dead.

Should be easy to get, the same capacitor has been in use from 2005 - 2010 for sure, maybe even for the 11's. Try your closest Poo dealer.

My closest poo dealer is 2hrs away.
But, it would still be cheaper for me to drive and get the part i guess. ahha

Everyone ive called so far says they dont have them instock. I guess no riding this weekend. This is seriously pissing me off. either my sled is broke or i dont have anyone to ride with. Bout to give up on this crappy sport.

What would stop a guy from temporarily wiring a small motorcycle battery in place of the capacitor.... you know, just to get the sled out of the bush, or so a trip doesn`t get missed for lack of capacitor`s to buy. thoughts.....

probably just a way to mount the battery. Capacitors can discharge electricity much faster than a battery though and this might be needed for the ignition system.
