Men’s Christian Snowmobile Retreat

This thread is very clear about what its all about, If you are not interested, DONT READ IT. Good on you guys for putting something like this together.

Yes, it sounds like a great thing to do! Some people for whatever reason, think you can't be a religious person and also a guy (or gal) who likes to ride hard and have a good time.

Great idea man, the more light the better!

Concrete guy, or any others of the same opinion, being a Christian doesn't automatically mean you're better than someone else, or less dirty than anyone else. Sorry if that is the perception you have, or if other Christians may have given you.

The goal is to try and be like Christ, not be Christ. We all stumble, we're all in the same boat.

Eric

Sounds like fun, but too far away for me. I would be interested in participating in something like this around the CO area if anyone knows if there is such a thing, or would be interested in starting it?

Being a Christian doesn't mean you can't be cool. I'm a Christian, and I'm the coolest person I know! Just ask me! :)
All kidding aside, great idea, wish this was closer!

If you don't like the original post that's your opinion, but don't bash the guy.

I become one with God every time I ride my sled. He's the powder flying over my head, the blueness of the sky etc...I don't need to go to church to experience him but I do believe.

To each his own:)

Your brother needs some help

Mr.Baker needs some help starting up a new ministry:):):)

Jim Baker is not a god. He is a dude that used his position to lift himself up and then steal from others. last i checked these guys aren't stealing from you. There are allot of good preachers and clergy who don't want your money.

I am MO' (aka LDS, aka Mormon, aka Brother from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) Junior/ Boondockers just wants to meet with people of common beliefs to help the world out thier own way. It it DOES help allot of people. I have heard some pretty crazy things about me being a MO' from "born again" Christians, but i still respect what they are throwing down and for the fact they even TAKE THE TIME to do good things.....that can't be said about allot for people.

Concreteman, even if you don't agree with these guys what have you done for your community??? Have you performed some sort of service lately????

Or are you Jim baker-ing it and taking your paycheck and not spreading the good fortune you have? If you were bald like Jim and hoarding your money aren't you just like JIm?? The better question is, did Tammy Fay look hot to you? If you answered yes to any of the following....i would say you and Jim could roll together.

People need help out there in the world. And whether you bielieve or not you should be helping out in your sphere of the world. I am going to take a stab and say your not. because you see some good folks here trying to help and you are fighting it....don't be a hater. Be a lover. OVER!

In the word of Snoop Dog or some of or other urban homies...."help a brotha. don't cheez on his frizzle. sup!"

I will be the first to admit that a Christian based ride isn't my cup of tea but more power to these guys for putting a group ride together.

As it was posted, if you're not interested you can kindly butt out. These guys aren't infringing on anyones rights. They just want to have two days of fun with a group of like minded people.

I think it's great.

(Well stated To-BE )As for me I don't really have a problem with the OP feel free go and have a great ride :D enjoy all that nature has to offer you on your ride! However don't expect a apology for my post thats the way i felt at that time no big deal.If the OP feels the need to spew scripture maybe he can find a better forum for it, I doubt there is a lack of Christian forums one could endlessly babble on and on. The flip side would be one could endlessly quote the news papers or press on all of the corruption in the realm of religion I have yet to even scratch the surface on this subject!!!!!!!!Most likely This will be the end of this discussion for me, so best wishes to all who go on the ride be safe and enjoy what the earth has to offer you.
