So was wondering if any of you guys had any thoughts on any areas that would be decent to ride Memorial Weekend? I know it matters on the weather but is there any places that are a safe bet to think about? Would really like to go sledding that late in the season. Thanks. Also would anyone be interested in going with?

snowny range in wyoming. I haven't seen this much snow in 20 years, hope to ride in july this year. we have ridden into June in years past and this year shouldnt be any different. Rode today and the snow was great:high5:

That would be nice. I rode there for the first time this year and had a great time. So do you just haul your sleds further up the mountain and park on the road?

Cooke city for sure. That would be pretty close for you especially if bear tooth is open. They have yet to loose any snow up high. Been getting some great storms in sw mt this spring.

If you have to, yes, no problem.

I've ridden out there in June and that was when they didn't have but a 70-90" base at this time. Now, the sensors are showing 160+ and I was out three weeks ago and never seen such deep snow and I think they have gained since then.

Several hundred of us get together Memorial Day Weekend in Bend Oregon up by Mt Bachelor. IT'S A BIG TIME...general riding mediocre...racing GOOD...party normally EPIC. Usually you see some very very fast sleds from all over the west. It's a motorhome festival at Dutchman's! Bigfun

Hey J, i am in cooke right now. Tons of snow! Boarders and skiers are still riding from town. We've been trailering to Lulu. There is 4-6 foot base at the lulu trailhead :face-icon-small-coo

Here is a couple pics of cooke on 5-14-11. This is were we unloaded at lulu trailhead. The other is looking SE toward Daisy Pass. Put the 10' Avy probe down and didn't hit anything.

I don't know if there would be a bad choice this yr. on memorial day. everywhere seems to have a large amount of snow left.
