and remember, despite what you hear and read in the media telling us this is the date "Slavery ended"... it actually did not. Media tells us it was June 19, 1865. But slaves in "Indian Country" were not freed. That happened a year later June 14, 1866.... and that does not address people kept as slaves by the western Indians...
