mcx turbo pops at hi revs?

Heres update. Hit with air and kills motor, so seems the injectors are working. Weights are 62 grams. How do the rollers change? Smaller?helix has 91 last numbers what angle would that be?

the helix is a 39 need 45 or 47, the rollers are held in by pins with bolt and nut, just remove bolt and nut and slide the pin out there are shims on each side of the rollers they need to go back in on both sides of the new rollers. should be able to get 14.5 mm rollers from any dealer, more aggressive wieght like 8bu-00 will work best. or a set of supertips.

39?? You better verify that somone didnt recut a helix or something....39 would never work from what I have seen....be on the rev limiter right from idle

39 came stock so unless he has changed it or had it cut by the # thats what it is, and it sounds like he, is having problems bounching off the rev limiter. I was just answering his question as to what the numbers indicated.

Was just out looking at helix it's not recut for sure! But there is a 49 stamped in a small circle, is it possibly a 49 the main #is bdv91.also cat dealer gave me 5 front springs to try, what engagement would be best? Thinking a little over 4000 now.

Definately a 39 degree helix, stock, get a 45 or 47 like said above. Get a Blue White Blue primary spring with 8bu-00 weights fully loaded with 9 grams of weight, 14.5 rollers. This works in saskatchewan at 1500 feet at 10 psi with a headshim, 8 psi without a headshim wind secondary spring to 70 degrees.

39 degree helix you will hit the rev limiter all the time.

Here is the helix chart from TY

thank you very much! i was over on TY but search was not successfull, okay so i will be on the phone asasp.now i will be riding mostly 5000 to 7000 ft so will i be better off ordering 43 or 45? glad i'm finally getting this clutch thing figure out. will be checking out the front spring to see whats in it!is there a clutch spring chart for dummies? oh and engagement? whats best for that? slowly adjusting to the dark side!

if you are ordering a new helix get the 47, if you can,t get the 47 then a 45, just use the blue white blue spring in the primary engagement should be fine.

You bought this sled set up right? I cant believe someone would leave a 39 deg helix in there?? Shows what kinda builder they were hey?

came from colarado built for 10,000 ft. must have worked fine up hi. it runs not bad at the top of frisbee but down low not so good! just ordered helix spring and rollers. guess its hurry up and wait time thanks guys!

oh i forgot do i need different back spring? it's black with pink spot. thanks

thanks snowy1 ,thats what i needed. 2 heavy steel in each is what is in, plus 4 grams welded underneath total 62. will grind off after all the helixs and rollers get changed. thanks guys be a week for parts

Good news all the parts came now to tune this badboy!45 degree helix, 14.5 rollers, blue white blue primary, green cat snopro secondary! Let the games begin!

well got the front spring changed to bl wh bl and the rollers to 14.5's but still waiting on the degree for the green cat spring? how my weights are going to effect the deal is the big Q? don't want to start blind and the weather here has been white out! not the best for testing. should i start with 60 degrees or? kind of lost .thanks guys you have been big help!Steve
