To all the MCX guys. How often is the Electronic Turbo Boost Control Valve a issue on yours sleds? I have a new cat and I think it is the issue.

Is there any troubleshooting that one can do to a valve to test it without replacing it to see what happens? There are a number of guys that seem to be having a issue pulling rpm with the new 1100t after having it work perfect for the first couple days. Seems to me this is the logical place to look. Also must of us do not have boost gauges to actually verify that the boost is low but it stands to reason that it is from what I know about turbo sleds.

put a boost guage on it to see what it runs if it is messed up then it wouldnt tell you anything unless you know what it is supposed to push. or if you ride with another guy that has one you could compare..

Julio, Have a good idea that the boost should be in the 11-13lbs range at my elevation with the sled stock. Honestly though I feel like the sled is likely more in the 7-8lbs range max. I am assuming the stock wastegate spring is set at 7-8lbs as that is what guys say it will drop to in limp mode.

I don't think it is a little ways off I feel like we are talking about 4-5lbs less than it should be.
 
remove it from the system and see what your boost it. a guy here in town is having problems to, a hose was hooked up wrong and was missing one.
also your sled at 13lbs is the same as a nytro at 8lbs. the cat motor is detuned alot so it can run boost.
