Sounds good i dont no the area so you guys pick the place and time and ill be there.
Sounds good. Gonna have to pair up or something/have a game plan, last time I went with 4 guys we spent half the time looking for each other, lol.
BTW, West Mountain was good Sunday and they should have gotten more the next two nights. Trail from the bottom up is good too, no driving up and didn't even need scratchers.

Sounds good to me. From what i can tell its off hwy 55 heading west a fuw milles out of town? And as far as time goes im open will be staying in town saturday night
Just depends, Brundage/North has twice the snow that West Mountain has, but WM is next to my house so we have been exploring that and I think 700RMK is a West Mountain guy, which is why I posted that it was good. Can't beat the snow depth out Brundage though, 9 feet in places TWO weeks ago and we got a lot since then.
I know west mtn like no other.... I rode brundage sunday theres alot as well? pretty deep up at west mtn? where did you ride from? donnelly side or from cascade? Anderson creek lot? Im game for anywhere
Donnelly lot, first time it was rideable from the bottom, we were driving up to 4 corners for a while, no need now. I know the area pretty much along the ridgeline to Tamarack. (Up the Jeep trail.) I didn't probe, but there is a killer base like everywhere plus at least a foot over what was there last Tuesday when I was up. Plus whatever we got this week.
I will need to double check with wife, pretty clsoe to Xmas and if she wnts to ride Sunday I will need to take her. Not sure if she is going to have her salon open MOnday or not, probably not unless she has appointments. I am sure I can get out one way or another one or both days. Maybe go break in my other sled.

I am down for Sunday, wife has to take her daughter to the airport and will take my little guys with her. Not sure what sled I will take, depends on the plan.
Someone told me there was only 2 feet up top.... of west mtn i didnt believe it. Is it really that bad?
No. What Tamarack is claiming on their site is what is up there. They were claiming 42 or something a week ago, we probed that near the top of Tamarack. We have gotten a couple of dumps since then, I was breaking trail with wife on Sunday in at least a foot of fresh. They are claiming 61 on top now. Nothing like what you can find out Brundage/Fischer Creek area but you gotta look for the real good stuff out there too.
This was almost two weeks ago, up by Tamarack.
Well got everything set up so Sunday morning I'll be there ready to ride. Can't wait.
Never been, so cannot say. I spent my first two winters here exploring everything north of town, now just starting the WM area.

Im still planing on going sunday. From the trail maps i looked at the map and looks like west face or green gate parking is close. idk tho thats why i was asking for input on here and someone to follow around lol
What is West Face? West Mountain parking lot in Donnelly is good, rode there Sunday. Park Ranger checked my sled tags and everything, lol. Not sure about Green Gate, but my buddy lives near there and rode from his house Sunday.
From the map i saw it saif west face and it was just of the high way going north and i thought that's what u were talking about. But I'm fine ridding ware ever your normal spot is.
