I was going to ignore these simply ignorant close minded comments, but since you keep persisting with your passive aggressive BS and insisting this thread is turned into a cop bashing thread....I will address you. Ok so you have little respect for me. Why didn't you say that when I asked you? ...because it was obvious as hell! You remind me of the cop you described that wouldn't confront the burglar. Instead you continue your passive aggressive tirade and can't come out and say it directly to me.
I really am sorry for your experiences. It sounds like you have had some...but that is also your side of the story. There are some real p*ssy cops out there...cowards, etc. However, I am not going to listen to you disrespect my brothers out there that have laid there lives on the line!!!! These men have wives and children and they face deadly danger all the time! I have had 2 good friends shot in the chest and one friend shot in the thigh, they survived....why don't you take a bullet tough guy? Since you imply you aren't spineless. I have had another good friend lose his finger when he was struggling with a bad guy. His finger was shot off. He got the magazine out of the gun before the bad guy fired again. The perp then clicked the trigger on his head. He was lucky that model of firearm wouldn't fire without the magazine. My buddy's firearm was thrown 15 feet away during the struggle. I think you would have pissed your pants Freak! This bad guy was a big fit bastard, but my buddy kept fighting. Why? Because he is one brave SOB and he didn't want this POS hurting others. My buddy could have turned and ran as fast as he could. The bad guy was wanted in Nevada for a murder charge BTW. I am sure he would have killed again if my buddy didn't fight long enough for other officers to show up. Hell he would have killed my buddy if the weapon fired! When I was in the jail that day the bad guy turned to 3 of us as he passed us and said, "Your lucky your f*ckhead cop friend is still alive." Do you have any close friends Freak?....any that almost died this way?...and have you ever heard those words come from an individuals mouth after he almost killed your friend?
I had another friend get beat with baseball bats by 2 perps because he didn't back down...he had to medically retire. I lost a friend to suicide...he shot himself in the chest with his Glock in the department storage room. We think due to the stress of his job and a failing marriage....and we think he wanted to be found by people that cared about him.
I have never backed down from anyone or anything! I was charged by a bad guy with a car. I didn't move and shot into the windshield. The reason I stayed there and fired because I feared this POS would hit people behind me and kill them. I have been involved in countless physical altercations...so have my brothers. I have 2 crowns on my teeth due to altercations ...one with a meth head that was beating his 2 year old and another one that was a convicted rapist. I have been cut. I have had two firearms pulled on me and several knives. I have had piss thrown into my face. I have seen cops run into burning homes to save children/people before the fire department arrived.
I was in charge of a fugitive recovery team for 3 years. We went into any structure to arrest fugitives with felony warrants. We kicked in doors not knowing what the hell was behind them. I could tell you countless stories of courage by the officers I worked with on this fugitive recovery team. We saved a 5 year old boy from being seriously injured or killed. The perp was trying to flee in a vehicle...he was hitting cars and structures in a hotel parking lot. An officer I was working with broke the driver's side window out with his ASP and I pulled the POS meth head out the window. A little 5 year old boy was in the back that we didn't know about...he was in complete shock. Apparently the little boy had been in car earlier that day when the bad guy rammed a meth dealer he had issues with. There was all kinds of meth in the car, including a mobile meth lab and two firearms. I held the little boy for an hour until child protective services showed up. This little boy didn't say a word or make a sound for 45 minutes then began to cry and sob the last 15 minutes I had him.
I have been spit upon by little kids calling me pig. I have walked into hundreds of homes and have seen child abuse and neglect. For example, I walked into a home and the meth head parents were passed out ....they had been passed out for 2 days! There was dog $hit and piss all over the floor. There were beer cans and whiskey bottles everywhere. There were needles everywhere, some still with f*cking meth still in them!!! There were sex toys and p*rn everywhere. The little 3 year old boy had been surviving on his own drinking f*cking toilet water! He ate whatever he could find! Who knows what would of happened to that little man if we didn't show up! After I was done with that incident I cried for an hour in my car. This was the worst of the meth head homes...been in hundreds!
3 1/2 years ago I was chasing a fugitive that was one of the worst criminals we have seen up here....robberies, rapes, drug trafficking, accessory to murder. He or his gang douches threatened my son when he got off the school bus one day. I then went after him hard. I got him. Then the POS filed complaint upon complaint against me. My department started a witch hunt investigation on me. I had enough and left.
After this I took an investigation job...because I am tired of laying my life on the line and putting my family's well being at risk for people with your type of attitude Freak and for departments that don't want to go to bat for their officers. I now have a pretty relaxed investigation job. I investigate welfare fraud. I still stumble upon the same type of people I have always dealt with, but I don't have to be waist deep in the sh*t all the time like I was before.
I really don't think this post will change any of your attitude. You want to catergorize me into a stereotype....fine...then be prepared for mine. You are the type of church goer dude that lives in fairytale world. You have no clue what kind of nasty crap that goes on out there....pure evil crap! You think you do...but you really have no clue. Then you put down all cops that fight this extreme evil because you have had some bad experiences....that is completely ignorant and selfish. Maybe I am wrong about my stereotype, maybe not.
I have a challenge for you. I can even hook it up because I know several Utah officers from my Army unit (they are also Army soldiers because they are selfless men)...all of them, except for one, are very good men. Go ride along with an officer for 2 months and then you come back to this forum and let us know if you feel the same way. Hmmm...how bout it? Are you man enought to step out of your box?
You have no clue if an officer arrested a meth head or a drunk before they ran into your vehicle and killed you and your family. You have no idea if a detective arrested a sexual predator before he got to your kids. I could go on and on...catch my drift?
The military fights foreign evil right? Who do you think fights domestic evil? It must be peeps like Freak eh? They have that arsenal ready so it must scare all criminals into submission. However, I do love an armed law abiding citizen....cheers to that!
BTW I have never been a traffic cop...I have issued maybe a dozen tickets total in my 13 year career. I also don't eat donuts.

I hear ya bro....I was sobbing like a little girl that got her dolly taken away. I sure hope it snows Freak! We have had good moisture all year and now it comes to a halt...of course.
