m8 turbo reliabilty?

Question for the turbo guys...i was looking at turboed m8's and HCR...kinda thinking about getting on for the right price. Anyways, was talking to a couple of guys at work about it, and they said its nothing but trouble from what they've seen in the mountains. Anyone expiriencing such problems on their sleds? Not really motor problems, but everything else....diamond drive, belts, clutches etc...kinda scared me off :D any input or advice? again, i dont know any details about these sleds, just heard about em.

It seems to me that the newer the setup the more satisfied the owners are.

Four years ago I heard nothing but issues, three years ago it seemed to be a bunch of guys with consistent sleds but lots of others with issues. year before last it seemed to turn toward a majority of issue free sleds, last year seemed to be about the same.

I may be a bit behind the curve, this is just looking at what I have observed in looking toward getting one myself.

Any more thoughts on TM8 reliability now that some of your guys have some more miles on them? Not impressed witht BNG 2011 thinking i would rather boo$t my 07' M8. Anyone got some miles on a push kit?

about 4000 miles on a cpc kit on a 08 m8 7-15 pounds and it continues to rip. ISSUES...daimond lite drive broke but never cost me a ride and the sled to this day has not been on the end of a rope. I replaced the reeds but never because the sled ran bad just as a preventitive measure. in 27 years of riding and 30 sleds this has been my best most capable sled.

any machine can have issues, but I recently watched a guy spend his whole vaction chaseing problems a M1000 BD PG unit, he was on the phone to BD all 3 days, and they were not much help, SO, my point is if you are not a TUNER, if you want a pull and go sled, well I dont think they are there yet, just my opinon I guess.

I'm with Dave on this. You need to be a tuner sort with a turbo or pay alot of money to have someone set it up right for you. I don't have alot of money or anyone around me that runs a turbo, so I will be on my own next year. Yes I plan to F some things up, It's just part of it.
