m8 or m7 vs rev

would like you get input on the rev xp 800 vs the m8... years 2005 to 2007... I know alittle about the m8 my brother has an 09 m8. i read about about how the rev is harder to ride but have never ridden one. looking for 150 inch or better track. 33% trail riding on groomed and non groomed trails, 33% boondocking and 33% hills... not the steep and scary **** just normal hills 20 to 200 feet and nothing to difficult... not like some of you guys. ride in washington state.

would like you know pros and cons of both sleds. want to spend 3 - 5K for a sled.

i am 6 foot 220lbs if that makes a difference. with not very much ridding experience on sleds but i used to race dirt bikes when i was a kid.....

thanks

M7 will outlast a rev many times over. You will not get an xp for 3-5k, maybe an 05-07 rev. If you like to ride get a cat. If you like to wrench get a doo. My 06 M7 162 never had a problem with a rev in 8k miles...

Go with the M8, you should be able to find a nice well setup m8 for that price, the M's are by far more reliable. If you go with a doo get a 06 or 09 and newer, the 07 where time bombs.
